초등영어 학습자의 창의성 함양을 위한 교원양성대학의 초등영어지도 방향
On the Direction of Primary English Teaching Focused on Fostering English Language Learners' Creativity for Pre-service Elementary Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 초등학습자의 창의성 함양을 위한 예비교사의 수업설계 및 교수․학습 방법의 방향을 제안하고, 그것이 타당한지를 검증하는 데에 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 세미나, 전문가 협의회, 토론회, 설문지 분석 등을 실시하였고, 2016년 2학기 초등영어지도법 강좌에서 15주간 강의, 토론, 발표, 마이크로티칭 등을 시행하였다. 구체적으로 살펴보면, 창의성 개념이나 방법에 대해 10개교과의 교수들로 구성된 전문가 협의회 및 세미나를 실시하여 창의성에 대한 학과 간 유사성 및 특수성을 추출하고, 영어 교과 특성에 적합한 창의성 개념을 정립하여 초등영어 수업에 적합한 수업 모형및 절차를 개발하였다. 이를 토대로 초등영어지도법의 강의계획서를 개발하였고, 구체적인 수업 방향을 계획하였다. 창의성 함양을 위해 학부 3학년 54명을 대상으로 15주에 걸쳐 수업을 실시한 후, 예비교사의 창의 역량이 함양되었는지를 설문지를 통해 검증하였다. 설문조사 결과, 창의성의 개념이나 창의성 교육의 중요성을 인식하며, 창의성 함양을 위한 수업을 계획하는 것에 대해 학생들의 만족도가높게 나타났다. 특히, 마이크로티칭을 위해 과업을 설계하고, 그것을 수업시간에 구현하면서 창의성 있는과제 설계 방법에 대해 자신감을 갖게 되었고, 다른 학생들과 모둠별․짝별 수업 비평 및 자가진단 토론 시간을 통해 자신만의 창의적 수업 구현 방법을 체득하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 창의성 함양을 위한 수업 모형, 창의적 수업 설계 방향, 마이크로티칭의 실시 과정 및 방법 등을 초등영어지도법뿐만 아니라, 영어문화지도, 영어교육론 강좌 등에도 적용할 수 있는 방안을 지속적으로 연구할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purposes of this paper were to develop teaching model for improving English language learners’creativity in primary English classes, to suggest the method of designing lesson plan, and to testify the validity of the model and the method presented. In order to achieve these purposes, recent papers on teaching models were investigated, and expert meetings composed of professors, researchers, and teachers were carried out to deliberate on the possibility of developing teaching model. Also, a micro-teaching was conducted to find out how pre-service teachers design lesson plan and implement it in classes. The preliminary teaching model was composed of three steps such as motivation and language input, activation and long-term memorization, and personalization and integration(MAP). The teaching model and the teaching procedure based on ADDIE were checked by the satisfaction analysis of classes for creativity. It was shown that the teaching model and the teaching procedure based on ADDIE were effective for English language learners to improve their creativity in classes. In this study, it was suggested that the MAP model and the teaching procedure based on ADDIE need to be applied to improve learners’creativity in primary English classes.
