생활관련 스트레스와 범죄두려움의 관련성 분석 -도농복합지역 청소년을 중심으로-

이 연구의 목적은 국내에 거주하는 청소년의 일상생활 스트레스와 범죄두려움의 수준을 살펴보고 그 개인적 요인을 탐색함으로서 청소년의 효과적인 사회생활을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 즉 청소년의 인구사회학적 요인에 따른 생활관련 스트레스와 범죄두려움의 차이를 검증하고, 생활관련 스트레스가 범죄두려움에 미치는 영향력을 분석하기 위한 것이다. 이를 검증하기 위해서 전라북도에 거주하는 중학교 및 고등학교 학생을 대상으로 설문지 300부를 배부하여 277부를 최종자료로 활용하였다. 본 연구에서 자료 분석은 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 분산분석, 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과를 보면 첫째, 청소년의 생활관련 스트레스의 하위변인 간 관계에서 하나의 스트레스가 높아지면 다른 스트레스도 동반 상승하는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 전반적으로 학업관련 스트레스는 유의미하지 않았다. 둘째, 청소년이 여성일수록, 거주연한이 짧을수록 범죄두려움이 많았다. 셋째, 청소년의 연령이 많을수록 경제수준이 낮을수록, 거주연한이 짧을수록 스트레스는 많았다. 넷째, 청소년의 교사 및 학교관련 스트레스나 주변 환경관련 스트레스가 높으면 범죄두려움이 상승하지만, 친구관련 스트레스가 높으면 범죄두려움은 감소했다. 이 연구에서는 학교구성원뿐만 아니라 부모도 청소년에 대한 관심과 배려의 중요성을 인식하고 지역사회는 이 쟁점을 심층적으로 논의하기 위해 중간지원센터를 육성해야 한다는 정책적 함의를 강조했다. 하지만 이 연구는 도농복합지역에 한정하여 연구했기 때문에 결과를 일반화하는데 한계가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analysis on the relationship between life-related stress and fear of crime in domestic adolescent. Also the result of analysis of the research will provides the basis resource for effective social life to adolescents. In other words, the research verify the difference between life-related stress and fear of crime by socio- demographic characteristic, and analyses life-related stress's effect on the fear of crime. The Survey questionnaires were sent to 300 middle and high school students in North Jeolla Province, 277 of which replied. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA and regression analysis by a statistical package, SPSS for windows(release 20.0) were used to analyze each variable. According to the results of statistical analyses. First, If there's an increase of sub-stress, there's also an increased another sub-stress in the relationships between the life-related stress variables. but in a survey, the effect of a study-related stress variable was not statistically significant at all. Second, In women, there was increase in fear of crime. and this kind of fear also tend to increase, when adolescents did not live long in residential area. Third, As they get older and poorer, adolescents tend to increase life-related stress. and this kind of stress also tend to decrease, when adolescents did live long in residential area. Fourth, If there's an increase of teacher/school-related stress and environment- related stress, there's an increased fear of crime. but If there's an increase of friend- related stress, there's an decreased fear of crime. The policy implications of this survey emphasis on the importance of care and attention of the parent as well as staffs and members of schools for their adolescent. At the same time we must foster the midsize support center to discuss the issues in depth in communities. However, It is difficult to generalize the results to the whole country, since the survey is limited to the Urban-Rural Complex Area.
