본 연구는 국가 수준 음악영재교육 프로그램 기준 시안을 개발하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 국가적 차원의 교육과정 개발에서 일반적으로 요구되는 절차에 따라, 해외 유사 교육과정 분석, 타 분야 영재교육프로그램 기준 분석, 국가 영재교육과의 연계 분석, 국내외 사례 분석, 음악영재성 관련 문헌연구 등으로 이루어진 심층적인 기초연구를 통해 기 개발된 음악영재교육 프로그램 기준(안)의 내용체계와 내용요소를 재검토하여 수준별로 기준 초안을 개발하고 전문가 의견조사를 거쳐 최종 시안을 확정하였다. 음악영재교육 프로그램의 정의와 프로그램 기준의 개발 방향을 설정한 후 음악영재교육 프로그램이 추구하는 음악인재상과 교육목표를 도출하였고, 음악영재교육 프로그램 기준 시안의 내용체계, 즉 교육 영역과 해당 영역별 내용요소를 확립하고, 이에 따른 기준을 수준별로 개발하였다. 내용체계는 크게 음악문해력, 표현, 소통의 3개 영역, 전체 15개의 하위영역으로 구성되었다. 음악영재교육 프로그램 기준 시안 개발 과정 및 연구결과를 토대로 예술영재교육 정책의 실행과 후속연구를 위한 시사점을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop a draft of standards for gifted music programs. We develop the first draft of standards based on methods used in developing the national curriculum: analysis of similar curriculums in other countries, standards of gifted education programs in other fields, an analysis of the connection with the national gifted education program, domestic and foreign cases, and research around musical talent. The draft of standards for gifted music programs is finalized through a review of specialists’ opinions. The final draft of standards for gifted music programs includes the following: a definition of a gifted music program, a direction for developing standards for gifted music programs, the vision and goal of gifted music programs, and pedagogical scope and structure. The content structure consists of three strands(Music Literacy, Expression, and Communication) and fifteen sub-strands. This study provides suggestions for educational policy implementation and research methodology for follow-up studies.
