본 연구에서는 국내 대학 학부 및 대학원에서 운영되고 있는 예술경영 교과 과정의 현황 및 문제점을 도출하고 더 나아가 개선방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 미국 예술행정교육자협회(AAAE)의 표준교과목 기준을 활용하여 국내 예술경영 교과과정을 분석하였다. 국내 예술경영 교과과정을 운영하는 학과 및 교과목에 대한 자료를 수집하여 현황분석 및 교과과정 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 예술경영학에 대한 관심은 지속적으로 증가하고 있지만 대학 별 교과과정은 다소 상이하였다. 또한 사회 변화에 맞추어 AAAE의 교과과정은 지속적으로 변화하고 있지만 국내 예술경영 교과과정은 변화에 대한 능동적인 대처가 부족한 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 개선 방안으로 예술경영 표준교과목 기준 설정, 실무교과목의 질적 성장 방안 마련, 지역사회 연계 강화를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study defines the present situation and problems of the Arts Management curriculum, as it currently operates in domestic undergraduate and graduate schools. It also proposes improvements. To do this, we examined the domestic arts management curriculum by using AAAE standard curriculum standards. We analyzed the current landscape and the curriculum by collecting data on the courses and subjects that are in the curriculum of Korean Arts Management. As a result of the analysis, we found that interest in Arts Management is continuously increasing, but the curriculum of each department is somewhat different. In addition, although the curriculum of AAAE is constantly changing in accordance with social change, the domestic Arts Management curriculum struggles to cope with change. This study suggests improvements in Arts Management standard curriculum, the quality of practical subjects, and the strengthening connections with local communities.
