대학 취업률 조사를 위한 개인창작활동 인정기준에 관한 연구

교육의 발전을 위해 평가는 필요하다. 그러나 단순히 평가를 위한 평가는 교육을 왜곡시킬 뿐이다. 현재 시행되는 대학 취업률 평가는 그 대표적인 사례이다. 특히 예술 전공 대학이나 학과들에게 치명적인 취업률 조사를 보완하기 위해 개인창작활동을 취업으로 인정하고 있지만 최초 기준이건 2015년 처음 적용된 개정된 기준이건 모두 현실과 전혀 맞지 않는다. 교육 현장에 긍정적으로 작용할 수 있는 평가가 되기 위해서는 역시 합리적이면서도 정교한 평가기준이 마련되어야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 가칭 예술활동지수를 제안해 보았는데, 궁극적으로는 예술 전공 대학이나 학과가 졸업생들의 가능한 진로를 고려하여 목표를 설정하고 그에 얼마나 부합하는지를 볼 수 있는 조사와 통계 분석이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
For the development of education, assessment is necessary. However, mere assessment for assessment distorts education. The assessment of college employment rate currently conducted is the most representative case for this. To complement the employment rate assessment, which is inadequate for art colleges and departments, personal creative activities are regarded as employment. However the standards do not suit the reality at all, if it is the first standards or the revised ones that were applied in 2015 for the first time. To make the assessment positively function in the education field, reasonable and refined standards of assessment need to be established. From this perspective, we suggest Art Activity Index (tentative name), which helps to examine whether the art colleges and departments set the goal considering the possible career paths for their graduates and how they can reach their goals in the long run and to conduct a statistical analysis of them.
