근대 동아시아 해전에 대한 포스트모던적 관점의 고찰: 영화 <한산: 용의 출현>과 <1894⋅ 갑오대해전>의 비교분석을 중심으로

본 연구는 한국과 중국의 근대 해전을 다룬 전쟁영화를 중심으로 분석하여 공동체가 전쟁을 막아낼 방패로서의 가능성을 모색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국 영화 <한산: 용의 출현>과 중국 영화 <1894⋅갑오대해전>에 재현된 전쟁의 주체와 민족의 욕망에 대해 텍스트 해석학의 비교문학적 응용의 구체적인 방법론을 적용한 한⋅중 비교분석을 수행했다. 군주, 장수, 민중이라는 전쟁 서사의 요소를 경유한 신념, 연대, 감정이라는 3가지 핵심 요소로 구성된 공동체를 고찰함으로써 포스트모던 시대 한⋅중 사회의 새로운 징후와 변화가 갖는 의미를 재조명했다. 이를 통해 왕이라는 지배층이 자신의 이익과 편리를 위해 백성을 외면한다면 군주를 매개로 하는 감정적 연대와 신념의 공동체가 형성될 수 없음을 확인했다. 아울러 공동체에 대한 미디어적 상상을 살펴봄으로써 현실 세계에서 평등과 협상의 메커니즘이 확립되고 감정의 연대로 운명공동체가 형성되어야만 전쟁 예방이 가능함을 도출했다.
Abstract
This research focused on the analysis of the modern naval warfare films so that it groped to the possibility of the community as a shield preventing war. For this, it used the methodology of comparative literary application of text analytics to films, which the comparative analysis was conducted for the subjects of war and the desires of the nation about “Hansan: Rising Dragon” of Korea and “The Sino-Japanese War at Sea 1894” of China. Pass through the war narrative elements regarding the monarch, the generals, and the people this article investigates that the community are established by belief, solidarity, and emotional three core elements, it re-examines the meaning concerning the new symptoms and changes in Korean and Chinese society in the postmodern era. And via these, this paper confirms that it is impossible to form a community of destiny with the monarch as a medium of emotional connectionand belief, if the ruling hierarchy of the king are only concerned with its own interests and convenience, and does not care about the people. Meantime, through explored about community of the imagination of media, this text derives to prevent war the possibility that only establish a mechanism for equal consultation and form a community with a shared future by emotional connection.
