본 연구는 댄스스포츠 활동이 정신지체 아동의 사회적 행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 참여한 정신지체 아동은 서울 K지역의 M정신지체 여자 생활공동체의 정신지체(자폐, 다운증후군, 소아마비)장애아동 4명으로 하였으며, 연구대상에게 사회적 행동 검사를 실시하여 사전ㆍ사후를 비교하였다. 사용한 검사 도구는 사회행동 검사지로 독립기능 17개의 하위영역, 경제활동 4개, 언어발달 9개, 수와 시간 3개, 작업 전 활동 3개, 자기관리 5개, 책임 2개, 사회화 7개의 하위영역으로 구성되어 있으며, 24회기 동안 댄스스포츠 활동에 따라 사회적 행동의 변화를 알아보고자 자료 분석을 위하여 참여집단의 사회적 행동의 실시 전ㆍ후 평균치 차이를 SPSS WIN 14.0의 t검증(Paired t-test) 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 연구의 질적 향상을 위해 정신지체 아동의 부모님과의 심층면담과 활동참여에 대한 아동의 구체적인 반응, 활동 참여를 통한 정신지체 아동의 변화사항을 관찰 기록을 실시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the therapeutic DanceSport Physical Activities on social behaviors, in the children with Mental. The subjects were 4 children with Mental. The therapeutic DanceSport Physical Activities consisted of rhythmical, group DanceSport skill activities. These activities were administered for a during 24 weeks. The social behavior was tested using the K-ABS(Korean-Adaptive Behavior Scale) under the criterion of Kim Seong Kuk in 1990. The collected data was analyzed using the Paired Samples T-Test which had been based on SPSS-WIN 14.0 program. The major findings of this study as follows: The experimental group participated therapeutic DanceSport Physical Activities showed significantly increased(p<.05) in social behavior level. There were also significant increased in the 8 sub -factors of adaptive behavior; ①independence 65.12±9.44, ②economically action 11.12±3.04, and ③prelingually 27.25±6.13, ④figures and time 9.50±2.00 and ⑤work and action 7.00±1.41, ⑥self-administer 13.00±3.62 and ⑦shoulder 4.87±1.24, ⑧socialize 19.12±4.32. It was found that the therapeutic DanceSport Physical Activities had positive effects on socialize behavior in children with Autistic Mental retardation. It could be concluded that the continual participation in therapeutic DanceSport Physical Activities by children with Mental retardation, would help to increase their socialize behavior levels in the positive way.
