아동의 거부민감성과 또래괴롭힘 피해의 관계에서 자아존중감, 사회적 위축 및 억제의 매개효과

초록

본 연구는 아동의 거부민감성과 또래괴롭힘 피해경험의 관계에서 자아존중감과 사회적 위축 및 억제가 매개하는지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경상남도 소재 4∼6학년 556명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 각 변인간의 상관을 알아보고 중다회귀분석을 실시하였고, 구조모형을 설정하여 그 적합도를 검증하고 개별변수의 영향력을 알아보았다. 첫째, 거부민감성, 자아존중감, 사회적 위축과 억제, 또래괴롭힘 피해경험 간에는 모두 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 거부민감성과 또래괴롭힘 피해와의 관계에서 자아존중감과 사회적 위축과 억제라는 행동변인이 매개하며, 자아존중감이 행동변인에 영향을 주어서 또래괴롭힘 피해를 경험할 수 있다는 연구모형은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 아동의 거부민감성과 또래괴롭힘 피해와의 관계에서 자아존중감과 행동변인의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 거부민감성이 자아존중감과 행동변인에 영향을 주어 또래괴롭힘 피해에 영향을 미치는 단순 매개효과와 거부민감성→자아존중감→행동변인→또래괴롭힘 피해에 이르는 이중매개효과도 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 기존의 연구결과와 비교하고 그 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediation of self-esteem, social withdrawal and inhibition in relation to children’s rejection sensitivity and the experience for victimization of children. To do this, data was collected from 556 students who were in grades four to six of elementary school located in Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. The data was studied to find the correlation of each factor and multiple regression analysis was conducted. The goodness of fit test was done after the structure model was set and the influence on each variable was inquired. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 20.0 and the result is the following. First, there are meaningful correlations among rejection sensitivity, self-esteem, social withdrawal and inhibition, and experienced victimization of children. Secondly, the research model that victimization of children can be experienced was set up while behavior variables by self-esteem, social withdrawal and inhibition mediate in relation to rejection sensitivity and victimization of children. The result from the model’s goodness of by structural equation is fit. The mediating effect of self-esteem and behavioral variables were checked in relation to children’s rejection sensitivity and victimization of children. The result showed that simple mediating effect that rejection sensitivity had an influence on self-esteem and behavioral variables, which affected victimization of children, was significant. Likewise the dual mediating effect went through in serial order of rejection sensitivity, self-esteem, behavioral variables, and then victimization of children. The results were compared with previous studies and the implication and limitation were discussed.
