특수학급 교사들이 교육현장에서 교육의 주체가 아닌 주변인과 같은 위치에서 직무 스트레스와 심리적 소진과 같은 크고 작은 어려움을 겪고 있는데, 이런 문제들을 해결하기 위한 변인으로사회적 지지가 중요하게 다루어지고 있다. 하지만 특수학급 교사에게 있어서 사회적 지지의 중요성에도 불구하고 아직까지 국내에서는 특수학급 교사용 사회적 지지 척도가 제대로 타당화된적이 없다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 특수학급 교사들을 위한 사회적 지지 척도의 타당도를 검증하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이 연구목적을 달성하기 위해서 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 특수학급 교사용 사회적 지지 척도의 구인타당도는 어떠한가? 둘째, 특수학급 교사용 사회적 지지 척도의 수렴타당도는 어떠한가? 셋째, 특수학급 교사용 사회적 지지 척도의 변별타당도는 어떠한가? 넷째, 특수학급 교사용 사회적 지지 척도의 공인타당도는 어떠한가? 이와 같은 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 특수학급 교사 101명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 사회적 지지 척도의 구인타당도 검증을 위해 요인을 총 3개 하위변인 16개 문항으로 구성하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 분석 결과 모형 적합도가 비교적 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 내적 구조에의해서 척도의 수렴타당도와 변별타당도가 확인되었다. 그리고 공인타당도를 활용한 수렴타당도와 변별타당도 검증을 위해 교사 효능감 척도, 직무 스트레스 척도와의 상관분석을 실시하였다. 특수학급 교사용 사회적 지지 척도와 교사 효능감 척도간의 정적 상관는 유의하게 나타나서, 수렴타당도가 확인되었으며, 직무 스트레스 척도와는 부적 상관도 유의하게 나타나서 변별타당도가 확인되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine validity of the social support scale for special class teachers. Four research questions set up for the study were following: First, how is construct validity of the scale? Second, how is convergent validity of the scale? Third, how is discriminant validity of the scale? Forth, how is concurrent validity of the scale? In order to verify the construct validity, convergent validity and discriminant validity of the social support scale for special class teachers, 101 teachers of special class were surveyed. A confirmatory factor analysis and a correlation analysis were conducted in relation with Self-efficacy Scale, and Stress Scale. The scales proved good in every index. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis, CFI, TLI, RMR and RMSEA were examined for the scale, validity turned out good. In addition, the internal structure of the convergent and discriminant validity was good. As a result of concurrent validity, the scale for special class teachers had a positive correlation with Self-efficacy Scale, while a negative correlation with Stress Scale. According to these results, the scale for special class teachers turned out to be a valid questionnaire. The limitations of the study and possible follow-up research are proposed in the conclusion section.
