본고는 고전명리에서 논하는 형충파해합(刑沖破害合)의 핵심이론을 분석하고, 아베 타이잔(阿部泰山)의 사주추명학에서 논하는 형충파해합의 해법과 활용을 현대적 간법으로 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 고전명리와 사주추명학에서 논하는 형충파해합은 서양점성학의 행성간의 각도(角度)와 성궁(星宮)의 이론과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 말하자면 행성간의 유의미한 관계가 형성되려면 각도가 0도, 45도, 60도, 90도, 120도, 180도를 이룰 때 길흉작용이 현저하게 발생한다. 따라서 황도 12궁의 좌표는 12지지로 표시하여 해석할 수가 있다. 刑은 행성간의 각도가 90도이며, 삼합국과 방국이 합세한 세력으로 너무 왕성하여 중화를 잃고 서로 형하는 이치이다. 沖은 행성간의 각도가 180도이며, 음양이 서로 대칭되는 자리로 조화롭지 못한 관계성이다. 破는 행성간의 각도가 90도이며, 서로 충하는 옆에 있어서 흔들려서 깨지는 것이다. 害는 ‘손해를 입힌다.’는 의미로 육합을 방해하는 작용을 한다. 合에는 행성간의 각도가 60도의 육합과 120도의 삼합이 있으며, 바른 합과 탐합의 구분이 필요하다. 또한 합이 오히려 속박이 되고 음란지합(淫亂之合)이 되기도 한다. 그러므로 고전명리와 사주추명학의 형충파해합의 이론은 생극제화와 같이 각각의 이론들이 구체적으로 전개된다. 또한 사주추명학에서 논하는 형충파해합의 해법의 경우, 刑이나 沖은 三合이나 六合으로 해소가 가능하며, 해소를 못할 경우는 전투를 준비하는 것과 같다고 한다. 구체적으로 형충파해합을 활용한 사례에서는 명조에 형충파해합이 있을 경우, 행운에서 또 겹칠 때 그 영향이 강하게 발휘되는 것을 알 수가 있다. 이러한 기존의 형충파해합의 이론을 통하여, 행운과의 해법에서의 길흉의 이치(理致)를 알려주는 새로운 방향을 제시하고 있음을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the core theory of Hyungchungpahaehap (刑沖破害合) discussed in classical fortune telling, and to examine the solution and utilization of Hyungchungpahaehap discussed in Abe Taizan's "Saju- humyeonghak(四柱推命學)" using a modern method. The "Hyeongchungpahaehoehap" discussed in Classical Myeongri is closely related to the theories of planetary angles(角度) and Seonggung(星宮) in Western astrology. Specifically, for meaningful planetary relationships to form, significant Gilhyung(吉凶) effects occur when the angles are 0, 45, 60, 90, 120, and 180 degrees. Therefore, the ecliptic(黃道) of the 12 gung(宮) can be interpreted by representing them as 12 jiji(地支). The Hyeong(刑) is when the angle between planets is 90 degrees, and the power of the samhabgug(三合局) and the bang-gug(方局) is so strong that they lose their Junghwa(中和) and Hyeong(刑) each other. The Chung(沖) is when the angle between planets is 180 degrees, a position where eum-yang(陰陽) are symmetrical but the relationship is not harmonious. The Pa(破) is when the angle between planets is 90 degrees, it is in adjacent position to the Chung(沖), where the clash things to shake and break apart. Hae(害) means 'to suffer damage' and has the effect of disrupting unity. In Hap(合), there are the Yughap(六合, 60 degrees) and the Samhap(三合, 120 degrees), and it is necessary to distinguish between the proper Hap(合) and the Tamhap(貪合) conjunctions. Furthermore, Hap can also become a bondage and Eumlanjihab(淫亂之合). Therefore, in Classical Myeongri, the theory of Hyungchungpahaehap is developed in detail as each theory is saeng-geugjehwa(生剋制化). And in the case of the solution of Hyungchungpahaehap of "Saju-chumyeonghak", Hyeong(刑) or Chung(沖) can be solved with Samhap(三合) or Yughap(六合), and if it cannot be solved, it is said to be the same as preparing for battle. Specifically, in the case of utilizing Hyungchungpahaehap, it can be seen that when Hyungchungpahaehap exists in Myeongjo(命造), its influence is strongly exerted when it overlaps again in Haeng-un(行運). Therefore, we can see that Abe Taizan is suggesting a new direction that informs us of Gilhyung's reason in the solution to Haeng-un through the existing theory of Hyungchungpahaehap.
