“幾乎”的主觀性及其在韩语中的翻译

This paper comprehensively surveys the two meanings of “幾乎” in the dictionary: “差不多” and “差點兒”. Based on statistical analysis from Peking University corpus, the research finds that the two senses are imbalanced: in contemporary Chinese language the semantic usage of the meaning “差不多” is used more widely. This paper analyzes the differences of the two meanings from the sight of subjective quantity. When “幾乎” expresses the meaning of “差不多”，it is inclined to subjectivity, while “差不多” is more inclined to objectivity. When “幾乎” expresses the meaning of “差點兒”, the implication of joy and pity is much weaker than “差點兒”. At last the paper makes a study of the translation of “幾乎” in Korean through the Chinese and Korean translation corpus.
