The main subject of this article is the work of Shalamov written about the Colyma Camp. If the existing The Colyma tales study is focused on the formal aspects, political ideological aspects, and comparative aspects of the other camps literature, I would like to emphasize the physical motifs of colyma space and East Slavic mythology. As a result, we were able to see how the intellectual-prisoner of Culture 1 was distorted in the concentration camp of culture 2, covered by artificial symbols.
