Abstract

The present study investigated the influencing process of adult learners' regular exercises on their learning satisfaction, mostly focusing on the mediating effects of self efficacy and self leadership on learning satisfaction. Two results were noteworthy. First, there were significant and positive among the four variables. These results supported our hypothesis, being consistent with the previous studies. Second, in terms of mediating effects, the results demonstrated that self efficacy completely mediated between regular exercise and self leadership. It also turned out that the variable self leadership played a completely mediating role of regular exercise and self efficacy on adult learners' learning satisfaction. These results imply that regular exercise for adults may act as an internal motive by improving general physical ability and self evaluation, and hence, increasing the ability of self regulation and self leadership. Through similar process, self leadership may play an important role in increasing the degree satisfaction of adult learners. The present study may be applied to the development of programs in relation to improving the learning effects of adult learners.
