특히, HIA는 통제 집단에 비해 HDL(p<.01), BDNF(p<.01), E2(p<.05)에서유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study examined the effects of an 8-week aerobic exercise program on body composition, V̇O2max, blood lipids, dementia-related factors, and estradiol (E2) in middle-aged women. Participants were divided into high-intensity (HIA), moderate-intensity (MIA), and control groups. The aerobic exercises were conducted three times per week, with intensity, speed, and duration adjusted to individual target V̇O2 levels. A two-way repeated measures ANOVA was used to analyze group interactions and differences, with significance set at p<.05. Results indicated improvements in blood lipids, dementia-related factors, and E2 levels for both the HIA and MIA groups after 8 weeks. Notably, the HIA group demonstrated significant increases in HDL (p<.01), BDNF (p<.01), and E2 (p<.05) compared to the control group. These findings indicate that high-intensity aerobic exercise may have more pronounced effects on dementia-related factors, such as BDNF and E2, compared to moderate-intensity exercise.
