(목적) 본 연구는 예비체육교사 관련 연구의 전반적인 동향과 핵심 주제를 파악하기 위해 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. (방법) 분석 자료는 2004년부터 2024년까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 예비체육교사 관련 논문 총 458편 중 정제 과정을 거쳐 최종 344개의 주요 키워드를 도출하였다. 이 중 출현 빈도 5회 이상인 50개의 키워드를 중심으로 네트워크 구조를 구성하고, 빈도분석, 중심성 분석(연결 중심성, 근접 중심성, 매개 중심성, 아이겐벡터 중심성), CONCOR 분석을 통해 자료를 다각도로 해석하였다. (결과) ‘예비체육교사’ 키워드가 모든 중심성 지표에서 가장 높은 값을 기록하며 네트워크의 중심에 위치하고 있음을확인하였고, 그 외에도 ‘체육수업’, ‘교육실습’, ‘표현활동’, ‘정체성’, ‘자기성찰’ 등의 키워드가 밀접하게 연결되어 다양한 연구주제들이 상호 연관되어 있음을 보여주었다. CONCOR 분석을 통해서는 네 개의 주요 클러스터가 도출되었으며, 이는 각각(1) 예비교사의 학교 현장 실습과 체육수업 경험, (2) 예비교사 양성 및 교육 프로그램, (3) 교사 인식 및 교수역량에 대한 평가, (4) 심리사회적 요인과 정체성 형성과 관련된 연구로 해석되었다. (결론) 본 연구는 체계적 키워드 네트워크 분석을 통해예비체육교사 관련 연구의 지형을 보다 입체적으로 조망하였으며 향후 예비체육교사 교육의 방향 설정과 후속 연구 설계에 있어 기초자료로서의 의의를 가진다.
Abstract
(Purpose) This study conducted a keyword network analysis to identify overall research trends and core themes related to pre-service physical education teachers. (Methods) Keywords were extracted from article titles and refined through systematic preprocessing, yielding a final set of 344 unique terms. Analytical techniques included frequency analysis, centrality measures (degree, closeness, betweenness, and eigenvector), ego network analysis, and CONCOR (convergence of iterated correlations) analysis to uncover structural patterns and thematic clusters within the literature. (Results) Frequently appearing keywords included “pre-service physical education teacher,” “elementary,” “physical education class,” and “expressive activities.” Keywords such as “pre-service physical education teacher” occupied central positions in the research network across all centrality metrics. CONCOR analysis identified four major thematic clusters: (1) teaching practice and curriculum experiences in elementary physical education, (2) teacher education and structured instructional methods, (3) perceptions of teaching competencies, and (4) psychological development and teacher identity. (Conclusions) The results suggest that research on pre-service physical education teachers primarily centers on interconnected themes including teaching experiences, pedagogical strategies, identity formation, and psychological development. These findings offer valuable insights for enhancing future physical education teacher training programs.
