「夜出古北口記」의 비평적 접근

Abstract

Yachul-Gobukgu-gi(夜出古北口記) is one of the excellent works created by Yeonam(燕巖) Park Ji-won(朴趾源), an representative author in the late Choseon dynasty. The purpose of this thesis is to explain the meaning of the core paragraph of Yachul-Gobukgu-gi and to investigate the structure of the full text(main text(本篇) and supplement(後識)) of Yachul-Gobukgu-gi in a critical angle. First, I extracted the core paragaraph of the main text by contrast with Changping-Shanshui-ji(昌平山水記) quoted in Yachul-Gobukgu-gi. And then I introduced the critical commentary of Yeonsanggak-jib(煙湘閣集), which is a new critical commentary(評批) text, and analyzed the last paragraph of the text by the analysis model of 'truth(眞) & imagination(幻)', which was made by the commentator of Yeonsanggak-jib. Subsequently I questioned whether the last sentence of the main text realized Yeonam's strategy sufficiently and it could function as the finale of the main text. After I analyzed the supplement, no less than the text in quantity, I concluded that the last paragraph of the supplement played the role of making up the incomplete ending of the main text and bringing the full text to perfection. Meanwhile I compared the early edition of Yachul-Gobukgu-gi with the final edition of it. There was a remarkable contrast between the supplements of the early edition and the final edition. Yeonam was dissatisfied with the main text of the early edition according to the supplement of the early edition, but he could not but stop modifying in the point of rewriting the latter of the supplement. Nonetheless, by his dynamic rewriting, the integrity of the full text improved conspicuously.
