본 연구는 중·고등학교 수학 수업에서 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 교수학습 다양화 및 학생 참여형 수업 활성화 실태를 조사하여 수학과 교육과정 개정을 위한 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 교육과정에서 추구하는 교수학습 방향과 운영의 중점 사항을 분석하고, 분석 결과를 바탕으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 중·고등학교 수학 수업에서의 교수학습 실태와 교사들의 인식을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 중·고등학교 모두 2015 개정 교육과정 적용 이후 학생 참여 중심의 교수학습 방법을 더 다양하게 활용하고자 하는 경향이 있으며, 이러한 경향은 고등학교보다 중학교에서 더 강하게 나타났다. 또한 수학과 교육과정에서 제시하고 있는 교수학습 방법들은 수학 수업에서 활용되고 있는 편이었으나, 일부교수학습 방법에서만 교과 역량이 고려되고 있어 이에 대한 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study focuses on the diversification of mathematics teaching and learning and the activation of studentengaged instruction in the secondary school based on 2015 revised curriculum by conducting a survey on these subjects. The questionnaire consists of questions analyzing the direction and operation for teaching and learning in 2015 revised curriculum. This study examined the secondary teachers’ actual application and perceptions in mathematics class. The results showed that the most of the secondary teachers tried to utilize a variety of teaching and learning methods for student-engaged instruction, and the tendency was much stronger among middle school teachers than high school teachers. In addition, while the teaching and learning methods were well adopted, it is found that the improvements were needed as mathematical competencies were applied only in some methods.
