Abstract

This study examined whether social support moderates the negative effect of ego depletion on the participation intention for SNS donation campaigns through self-efficacy. The results showed that the main effect of social support on the participation intention was positively significant. In addition social support moderated the effect of ego depletion on the participation intention, and the moderation effect of social support was completely mediated by self-efficacy. The study has academic and practical implications in the field of SNS donation marketing.
