초록

This article presents Zhu Xi's theory of li and qi and tries to use Confucianism as the content of Confucian sociology. Under the premise that Confucianism and its ideology are still the basis of Korean society and culture, it is to explore the theory of Confucian sociology through the paradigm of li and qi theory. The author's intention is to emphasize the practical applicability of the Confucian worldview in modern Korean society and the Confucian paradigm based on it. This article explores the examples of Qi theory, Confucian methodology, Confucian teaching theory, and Confucian change theory. Afterwards, we analyze the meaning of Confucian sociology theory and explore the positive significance of Confucian sociology theory based on li and qi theory within the Western European sociology, which is a "normal science" in current Korean society. At the end, the article shows which direction that current Confucian sociology should go.
