본 연구는 교사의 인성교육 전문성의 특성에 따른 유형화를 시도하는 것을목적으로 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 잠재프로파일분석 방법을활용하였고, 기존의 인성교육 전문성 척도 개발 선행연구에서 수집한 현직 초⋅중등학교 교사 데이터를 분석 대상으로 하였다. 잠재프로파일분석을 실시한 결과, 교사의인성교육 전문성은 크게 세 유형으로 분류되었으며, ‘전문가 집단(27.8%), 평균만족집단(35.7%), 초보자 집단(36.5%)’ 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 분류는 교사의 담당 과목, 담임교사 경력 및 성별과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 또한 잠재집단 분류결과는 인성교육에 대해 갖는 교사의 효능감과도 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석 결과는 교사의 인성교육 전문성의 양상을 확인하고, 학교 인성교육을 위한 교사교육의 방향에 근거를 제공하는 기초자료로서 의미가 있다.
Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of attempting categorization according to the characteristics of teacher's Character Education expertise. In order to achieve this research purpose, the latent profile analysis method was used, and the data of 115 elementary and secondary school teachers collected in previous studies. As a result of conducting latent profile analysis, teachers' Character Education expertise was classified into three types, ‘experts group (27.8%), average satisfaction group (35.7%), and novices group (36.5%)’. In addition, the results of the classification of groups were found to have a positive correlation with the teacher's efficacy in Character Education. The above analysis results are meaningful as basic data confirming the aspect of teacher's Character Education expertise and providing a basis for teacher education for school Character Education.
