이규보와 최승호의 시세계 비교 연구 - 불교생태론적 관점을 중심으로

Abstract

The Earth has greeted a new millennium but faced the indiscriminately ecological destruction because of human-centered values. To overcome the ecological crisis, We need the correct understanding of the nature which is based on the reasons of real conciliation about all things including human beings. The Buddhist view of ecology provides us with the important implications for the establishment of concrete actions realizing the balance of ecosystem and the free life as well as with the excellent efficacy to control the human desires. The view of life in Buddhism including Sunya (mutual substantiation), Pratityasmutpada (interdependence) and maitri-karuna(interrespect) is the meeting point of the ecological spirit. It is meaningful to compare the world of poems by Lee, Gyu-Bo an unprecedented literary man during the Goryeo Dynasty, and Choi, Seung-Ho a modern ecological poet, from the Buddhist ecological perspectives. The ecological views in the works of these two poets have the difference between representation form and technique to explain poetic shaping as much as a long time but the ideological current in their works is based upon the ecological view of Buddhism ,that is, the mutual substantiative view of ecology. If we reconsider the current crisis of ecology, depending on the classics and present a new ecological criticism and an alternative metaphorically, the comparative study of classic and modern poetry like this will be able to contribute to overcoming the ecological crisis.
