This study is a corpus-based analysis of the Chinese vocabulary used in the New Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi(New HSK) Chinese proficiency test, and it aims to determine the vocabulary levels of HSK-Level 5 and 6 reading section. To achieve this goal, a corpus of HSK reading section has been built, and analyzed and compared in several different ways.
