『剪燈新話』의 惡鬼와 超越의 倫理 ─「牡丹燈記」를 중심으로─

『剪燈新話』에 등장하는 다양한 여주인공 가운데 가장 독특한 인물이 「牡丹燈記」의 符麗卿이다. 그녀는 惡鬼임에도 풍부한 매력으로 동아시아 소설에 많은 영감을 제공했다. 특히 日本에서의 人氣는 매우 이례적이었는데, 그 원인은 그녀가 소유한 慾望의 超道德性이 인류의 보편적 욕망의 실체를 용감하게 대변하고 있었기 때문이다. 이 논문은 이를 주이상스라는 관점에서 고찰했다. 자유의지로 타자를 긍정하려는 삶의 방식이 慈悲라면 부여경은 비록 顚倒된 방식이긴 했지만 열정적으로 한 남성을 사랑함으로써 자비를 흉내 냈고 자신의 죽음을 부정하여 욕망을 추구함으로써 삶을 흉내 냈다. 이 에피고넨적 정열은 邪惡한 통로 외의 길을 찾지 못한 惡의 에너지였지만 그것이 상징하는 궁극의 삶의 양식은 운명에 대한 주체적 자기결단으로서의 윤리적 주이상스임을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
The most extraordinary heroin in Jundeungshinhwa(剪燈新話) is Bu Yeokung(符麗卿) appears in Morandeungghi(牡丹燈記). Although she was an evil ghost, her fluent attractiveness has supported a lot of inspiration on the East-asian classic novels. Especially her character has won popularity among Japanese readers in pre-modern society. The reason of the popularity was that the hyper-normality of the desire she had possessed represented enthusiastically the entity of universal human desire. This treatise deals with this problem in the viewpoint of joussance. If the lifestyle that affirms another peoples for their own free will is the benevolence or Karuna, Bu Yeokung(符麗卿) imitated the benevolence through the passionative love for a man and imitated human life through the pursuit of desire denying the death though her method was perversive. This Epigonen passion wss the evil energy that got astray but the ultimate life which it symbolized was the ethical joissance as a subjective resolution on the destiny.
