The purpose of this study was to examine the validity of industrial classification for convention industry linked an Inter-industry relation table in Korea. In this study, convention was operationally defined as meetings which more than 10 foreigners, 250 participants, 4 hours period. Data were collected in three ways: for examining convention hosts’ details of expenditures, two Focus Group Interview, and lastly the expert group counsel for industrial classification. The results of the study revealed that 28 items were classified like as sewing clothing(73), bag and handbag(80), stencil paper(91), and so on through details of expenditures on convention events and 44 items including floral scent(10), alcohol-free drinks and ice(60), and 16 items were extracted from FGI. Finally, 43 items were classified linked an Inter-industry relation table from expert group advice.
