본 논문은 종교적인 관점을 적용하여 통일에 대한 성찰을 하고 있다. 논문에서는 한국인이 통일이전에 동질성을 가지고 있었으며 한반도의 통일은 이러한 동질성을 다시 회복할 수 있다는 가정아래 통일을 대비해야 함을 강조했다. 한국인이 공유하는 영성, 종교성을 살펴보고 이러한 영성을 다시 회복하자는 것이 본고의 주된 주장이다. 한국인은 통일 이전 유불선의 종교가 들어오기 이전에 풍류라고 하는 삼교를 포함하는 오묘한 도를 지니고 있었다. 한사상을 기본으로 하는 이러한 동질성은 남·북한이 분단되면서 남과 북에서 각각 다른 형태로 변환되어 북한에서는 주체사상이라는 형태로 남한에서는 기독교의 번성이라는 형태로 진행되었다. 통일을 대비하여 한국인이 통일 이전에 가졌던 동질성을 회복하고 민족의 얼을 다시 회복함으로써 남북한의 통일주체들인 사람의 통일을 이루어내는데 기여하는 것이 본 논문의 주된 목적이다.
Abstract
This thesis focuses on the reflection on unification which is seen from the religious perspective. The paper emphasized that Koreans were homogeneous before division and that unification of the Korean peninsula should prepare for unification under the assumption that this homogeneity can be regained again. It is the main argument of this essay to examine the spirituality and religiosity shared by Koreans and restore this spirituality. The Koreans had a mysterious Tao(道) that included three religion -confucianism, buddhism, taoism- before the entrance of the three religion. This article examines how homogeneity that Koreans have in common changes in the South and the North. This homogeneity based on Han-thought has been transformed into a different form in the divided North and South. While it evolved in the form of Juche Ideology(주체사상) in North Korea, in South Korea it has progressed in the form of prosperity of Christianity. I have shown that the divided North and South identities can eventually be brought together again. The main objective of this paper in preparing for unification is to contribute to the unification of the subjects of the two Koreas by restoring the homogeneity that the Koreans had before the division.
