2015년 제정된 ｢한옥등건축자산법｣에 의한 건축자산 제도는 기존 문화유산 제도와 달리 건축물의 역사성뿐만 아니라 예술적 가치, 경관적 가치, 사회문화적 가치를 평가하는 것으로 확대되었다. 또한, 원형의 보존에만 초점을 두지 않고 보전과 활용 모두에 초점을 두고 있는 것도 기존 문화유산 제도와 가장 큰 차이이다. 본 연구에서는 건축자산의 제도적 의미와 함께 부산시 건축자산의 가치평가와 선정 과정을 분석하였다. 그리고 건축자산이라는 제도를 통하여 지역의 근현대 건축물의 보존과 활용이 활성화될 수 있는 가능성을 고찰하고자 하였다.
Abstract
The ‘Architectural Asset’ is established under the ｢Architectural Assets Promotion Act.｣ enacted in 2015, differs from the existing Cultural Heritage System by expanding the scope of assessment to encompass not only the historical value of buildings but also their artistic, scenic, and socio-cultural value. Furthermore, its focus shifts from the preservation of original forms to both conservation and utilization, a key difference from the existing Cultural Heritage System. This study analyzed the institutional significance of architectural assets and the valuation and selection process for Busan's architectural assets. Furthermore, it explored the potential of this system to revitalize the preservation and utilization of the region's modern and contemporary architecture.
