Abstract
Café Franceis the poem Jeong Ji-yong was most attached to. It has been published and included in the paper at least 5 times. “Cafe France” was originally released in Japanese. 「Cafe France」 published in Japanese has quite a few differences from Korean works. A heterogeneous poetic word with a strong image of “wild dog” seen in primitive Japanese is seen. Therefore, it can be said that Cafe France has unbearable resentment, resentment, and even hostility. He borrowing of the poetic image of <Café>, which can be said to be the poetic space of Café France, has been greatly influenced by literature. It can be found in Tokyo Landscape, a special feature of Contemporary Poetry, a poetry magazine published by Seokwang Poetry Company, in which Joo Yo-han participated as a coterie. Jung Ji-yong came across Tokyo Landscape in the process of keeping an eye on Chu Yo-han's poetry career, who had already debuted in Japan's central literary circle and was active as an international student poet. And it is presumed that he searched for the motif of “Cafe France” while appreciating the poems “Cafe Lion” by Fucho Shimizu and “Rain of Ginza” by Ryuko Kawaji, who drew cafes. So how are we to think of this influence? As can be seen in Jeong Ji-yong's Café France, it was influenced without hesitation by modern Japanese poetry in order to obtain a sense of aesthetics and literary quality comparable to Western poetry. It brought the significance of expanding the realm of Korean modern poetry and deepening artistry. Almost all of Korea's modern writers have had the experience of studying in Japan. Since there are not a few Japanese works by Korean modern writers, a significant part of our modern literature research should be expanded to comparative literature research in collaboration with Japanese literature researchers. Jeong Ji-yong's Café France symbolically presents this task.
