본 논문은 도교 부록의 사상적 의미를 간략히 알아보고, ‘부(符)’ 와 ‘록(籙)’의 의미 구분하고, 도교 교파의 하나인 정일교(正一敎)의 ‘록(籙)’에 나타난 도교의 ‘계율(戒律)’과 연기(煉氣)를 통한 ‘소역신장(召役神將)’의 수행 과정을 고찰한다. 도교의 ‘부록(符籙)’은 도교사에서 그 의미와 정의가 가장 복잡하고 이해하기 힘든 것 중 하나이다. ‘부록(符籙)’에 대한 연구는 경전을 통할 수밖에 없다. ‘부록(符籙)’은 재초과의(齋醮科儀)의 하나로 매우 방대하고 복잡하다. ‘부(符)’는 ‘부적(符籍)’의 의미를 지니며, 글과 그림 통해 신(神)과 인간을 서로 통하게 하는 것으로 나와 신이 서로 합치하는 것이다. ‘록(籙)’은 두 가지 의미를 지니고 있다. 하나는 통신(洞神)이다. 즉 통신(通神)으로 하늘과 땅의 신에게 요청하는 하나의 통신 수단이다. 다른 하나는 수련을 통해 신(神)과 소통하는 수단과 도사(道士)의 신분을 나타낸다. ‘부록(符籙)’을 통한 도사들의 구체적인 수련체계는 종교활동의 지침서가 되었다. ‘부록(符籙)’은 도사들의 내적 수련 체계를 외부세계로 드러내고, 종교적 실천 활동을 하면서 그 역할을 수행하는 중요한 수련체계이다. 도사(道士)가 되어 ‘계율(戒律)’을 지키는 것은 수행의 첫 단계이다. 도교 교파의 하나인 정일교(正一敎) 도사들은 신(神)을 공경하고, 향을 피우고, 경전을 외우는 것을 중요하게 여겼다. 수행에 있어서 ‘계율(戒律)’을 수지(受持)하고 수행의 단계에 따라 ‘계율(戒律)’도 엄격하다. 그 이후 정기신(精氣神)을 단련하여 신(神)을 부르고 다스리는 ‘소역신장(召役神將)’하는 수련법이 중시되었다.
Abstract
In this paper briefly examines the ideological meaning of the Taoist ‘Talisman(符籙)’, distinguishes the meanings of ‘Tally(符)’ and ‘Register(籙)’ and considers the process of performing ‘zhaoyishenjiang(召役神將)’ through refining breath(煉氣) and practice(戒律) of Taoism in zhengyijiao(正一敎), one of the Taoist denominations. The ‘Talisman’ of Taoism is one of the most complicated and difficult to understand when looking at the entire Taoist history. In order to study the ‘Talisman’, it must be obtained through the scriptures. The ‘Talisman’ of Taoism is one of the zhaijiaokeyi(齋醮科儀) which is very vast and complex. ‘Tally(符)’ means Talisman and it means that God and humans communicate with each other through writing and painting, and it is that God and God harmonize with each other. ‘Register(籙)’ has two meanings. The first is communication. In other words, it is a means of communication that is requested to the gods of heaven and earth through communication. The other is a means of communication with the gods through water training and the status of a Taoist. The specific training system of the Taoists through the Taoist Talisman became a guide for religious activities, and it is an important training system that reveals the inner training system of the Taoists to the outside world, and performs religious practice activities. Becoming a Taoist and observing the religious precepts(戒律) is the first step in practice. The Taoists of zhengyijiao(正一敎), one of the Taoist denominations, place importance on honoring God, burning incense, and learn the scriptures. In practice, the precepts are accept(受持), and the precepts are strict according to the stage of the practice. Since then, it is important to train the jingqishen(精氣神) call and rule the god, and to practice the ‘zhaoyishenjiang(召役神將)’.
