오늘날 학교교육은 기술체계의 비약적 발전과 밀접한 관련을 갖는다. 우리의 학교교육은 교육적 원리에 의해서라기보다 컴퓨터와 인터넷, 휴대폰 등을 포함하는 기술중심적 사고로 진행된다. 이러한 기술중심적 사고는 일상생활에서 학교구성원들의 행동과 태도에도 중요한 영향을 미친다. 이 논문에서 먼저, 우리는 기술중심적 사고가 어떻게 형성발전되었는가에 대해 검토한다. 그리고 우리는 학교교육에서 전형적으로 나타나는 기술중심적 사고의 구체적 사례들에 대해 대량생산적 표준화, 통제기제(파놉티콘), 성적지상주의 등으로 다루어본다. 마지막으로, 우리는 학교교육의 새로운 가능성을 비판적 사색가의 양성을 통해 제시해본다.
Abstract
Nowadays school education has a very close relationship to the fast development of technology. School education in korean society is chiefly determined by techno-centered thoughts, including computer and internet, mobile communication rather than educational principles. These techno-centered thoughts have influenced the behavior and the attitude of school members in everyday life. In this paper, I examine the formation and development process of technopoly. And I deal with cases of technopoly like mass productive standardization, control mechanism (panopticon), learning by heart just for scores in school education. Finally, I propose the necessity of cultivating critical thinkers as a core of the new educational system.
