본 연구는 한 여성 체육교육자가 살아가면서 겪는 경험을 통해 교육자로서의 일과 삶의 의미를 내러티브 형식으로 전개한다. 연구자는 교수로 임용되기 전 중학교 체육교사로 재직할 때부터 교수 임용 후 현재까지의 경험을 일기를 통해 기록하면서 체육교육자로서 그리고 연구자로서 겪은 경험과 의미에 대해 솔직하게 고백한다. 체육교육학자로서 살아가는 것은 학문적 성취를 통해 자신의 정체성을 발견해 나가는 것, 복잡하고 다양한 인간관계 속에서 살아가는 것, 다양한 역할을 수행해 나가며 균형감을 잃지 않는 것, 가르침에 대해 끊임없이 자기 성찰을 하는 것 등을 들 수 있다.
Abstract
Exploring Narrative of Physical Education Educator in Higher EducationChoi, Hee-Jin(Chungbuk National University) This study will be developed through the narration by a female educator engaging in physical education about the meaning of works and lives through her experiences. The investigator of this study is confessing frankly about her experiences and meanings as investigator as well as female physical education educator through the her diary records describing the period during (and after) she engaged as physical education teacher in middle school. To live as female physical education educator is containing the meaningsas follows; identifying herself through academic achievement, living in complicated and various human relationships, maintaining proper balance under her multiple roles, and self-reflection in teaching. After all, her living is the process of maturation through self-reflecting and finding the meaning her life.
