가상적 딜레마와 교직 실생활 딜레마에서 나타난 예비교사들의 도덕지향

그동안 도덕발달단계에 대한 연구는 많이 이루었지만, 상대적으로 5가지 도덕 지향에 대한 연구는 드물었다. 5가지 도덕지향이란 Colby와 Kohlberg (1987)가 제시한 규범적 지향, 자기중심적 지향, 공리주의적 지향, 이상적 조화추구적 지향, 공정성 지향을 의미한다. 본 연구의 목적은 예비교사들을 대상으로 가상적 딜레마(하인즈, 탈옥수, 의사와 환자)와 교직 실생활을 다루는 딜레마(신체적 처벌, 대학원 진학, 학급도난사건)를 제시한 후에 도덕지향에 차이가 있는 가를 알아보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 K대학교 사범대학 65명을 대상으로 자료가 수집되었고, SPSS(Win 14.0)에 의해 교차분석과 Cramer's V가 산출되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 딜레마의 유형(가상적 딜레마, 실생활 딜레마)에 따라 도덕지향은 유의하게 달랐다. 둘째, 성별에 따라 도덕지향이 유의하게 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 6개 딜레마의 특성에 따라 도덕지향도 유의하게 다른 것으로 나타났다. 이밖에 도덕지향에 대한 구체적인 사례도 제시되었다.
Abstract
The prior studies were accomplished about stage of moral development, but rarely about moral orientations. Colby & Kohlberg(1987) was suggested five moral orientations that normative, egoistic, utilitarian, perfectionist, and fairness. The purpose of this study was examined moral orientation of undergraduates in college of education, so were presented with three hypothetical dilemmas(Heinz, a prison breaker, doctor and patient) and three real-life dilemmas in school(corporal punishment, graduate school exam, theft in classroom). The subjects of this study were 65 undergraduates. Data were processed by chi-square and Cramer's V by SPSS. The results of the study were as follows; First, There was significant difference between type of dilemmas and moral orientations. Second, there was significant difference between gender and moral orientations. Third, There was significant difference between character of dilemmas and moral orientations.
