본 연구의 목적은 최근 새로운 교육 패러다임으로 주목받고 있는 다중지능을 활용한 청소년 진로지도의 방안을 탐색하는 데 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다중지능을 기반으로 하는 청소년 진로지도의 새로운 접근법을 살펴보고 다중지능형 진로지도 모형을 제안하였다. 또한, 그 모형에 따라 재능을 탐색하여 진로를 선택하는 방법을 구상해보았고, 그런 과정에서 인성의 역할과 주위 사람들의 역할을 제시하였다. 그 다음, 청소년 진로지도의 절차와 프로그램을 제안하였고, 개선 방안과 추수연구의 과제를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 다중지능을 활용한 청소년 진로지도의 기본틀을 최초로 제시한 기초 연구의 성격을 지니는 만큼 향후에는 더 많은 후속연구들이 수행되어. 청소년 각자의 다양한 재능을 살리는 진로지도를 통해 자아실현과 삶의 진정한 행복의 추구라는 교육 본연의 과업 달성에 기여하게 되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
Recently, Multiple Intelligences theory has been considered as a new paradigm for education in 21st century and an alternative approach to career education. The present career education for adolescents is not sufficient enough to explore and plan one's career. The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of career education for adolescents based on Multiple Intelligences. In this study, I suggested a model and a module of career education based on Multiple Intelligences. And then, I suggested the method to find talents and choose occupations in the framework of Multiple Intelligences. Consequently, it can be said that career education for adolescents based on Multiple Intelligences is an effective method to find talents and choose occupations.
