Abstract

In this study, we propose an education program combining music composition and computer coding education. The expected educational effects are as follows. During the integrated course, students will be able to learn melody, rhythm, harmony, and musical form through listening to music and compose music based on the musical knowledge. In addition, students will be able to learn basic concepts computer programming. Futhermore, this coding music integrated education which helps students to develope abilities of convergence thinking and creative problem solving has possibility to be expanded as edutech such as digital media art and physical computing in the near future.
