본 연구는 학습주기를 활용한 유아영양교육 프로그램을 개발하고자 하는데 초점을 두었다. 이를 위하여 문헌검토, 보건교육 실무자 협의 및 요구조사, 그리고 유아교육전문가와 식품영양 전문가와의 협의 과정을 거쳐 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램은 영양에 대한 지식, 기술, 태도를 학습하므로 건강생활을 위한 식습관을 형성하는 것을 목표로 영양과 관련된 지식, 기술, 태도가 포함되도록 7개의 주제를 중심으로 교육내용을 구성하였다. 교수-학습과정은 '학습주기(learning cycle)'를 활용한 구조로써, 관심가지기-이해하기-실천하기의 3단계가 순환적으로 구성될 수 있도록 하였으며, ‘관심가지기’의 단계는 대소집단활동, ‘이해하기’의 단계는 자유선택활동, ‘실천하기’의 단계는 가정연계활동의 구조로 구성하였다. 영양교육의 특성상 부모의 식생활에 대한 협조가 매우 중요하므로, 가정의 부모 역시 유아의 건강한 영양생활에 대한 정보와 인식을 습득하고, 유치원에서 이루어지는 영양교육의 내용을 가정에서 실천할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 가정연계활동을 강조하였다. 평가는 교육현장에서의 프로그램 운영 적합성에 대한 프로그램 평가와 유아의 지식, 기술, 태도 등에 대한 변화를 평가하는 것으로 구성되었다.
Abstract
This study is aimed to develop the nutrition education program for children applying the learning cycle as the means to promote children's knowledge, skill, and attitude about healthy eating habit and nutrition. In order to design the program, the process of studying literature, consultation and investigation of practical needs with the person in charge of health eduction from the healthcare center, and deliberation with kindergarten teachers and professors was gone through. The contents consist of 7 topics including knowledge, skill, and attitude. This study adopted 'Learning Cycle' as a teaching method which consists of 3 steps: 'taking interest' 'understanding', 'practicing'. 'Taking interest' phrase consists of group activities, 'understanding' phrase consists of free choice activities, and 'practicing' phrase consists of family related activities. In terms of characteristic of nutrition education, participation and support from parents in the children's families is very essential through the program, Therefore, parents would learn information and importance of childhood healthy nutrition ahead of the program execution as well. The assessment consists of the feasibility of the program in kindergartens and the transformation of knowledge, skill, attitude of children.
