특수학교 교사의 경력에 따른 소진과 직무만족도에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 특수학교 교사의 경력에 따른 소진과 직무만족도가 어떠한지 알아보고 소진과 직무만족도 간의 관계를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 전국 특수학교에 근무하는 특수학교 교사 916명으로, 교직 경력에 따라 5년을 기준으로 6개 집단으로 구분하였다. 특수학교 교사의 교직경력에 따른 소진과 직무만족도를 알아보기 위해 일요인 다변량분석(MANOVA)를 실시한 후 사후검증을 실시하였고, 교직경력에 따른 소진과 직무만족도 간의 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 소진전체에 있어서는 전체교직경력이 15년 이상～20년 미만 집단이 가장 높았으며, 25년 이상 집단의 평균이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 직무만족도 전체에 있어서 교직경력이 높을수록 직무만족도 평균이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 소진과 직무만족도는 상호간 부적 상관관계를 나타내며, 하위 요인 간에도 통계적으로 유의한 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 경력이 짧은 특수교육 교사의 소진을 낮추고, 직무만족도를 높여야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 이에 대한 제언을 하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine special education teachers' burnout and job satisfaction would differ in terms of the year of experiences in the field. The subjects of this study were 916 special education teacher who had been worked in korea. The collected data from the assessment were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, significant differences were found in a sub-category of 'emotional exhaustion' and 'depersonalization' of burnout. Second, a significant difference was observed in the teachers' job satisfaction(Development, Innovation, Autonomic, Burden) according to the year of experiences in the field. Third, there was meaningful negative correlation between the teachers' burnout and job satisfaction.
