이러닝 형태의 건강장애 이해교육이 일반초등학교학생의 건강장애에 대한 자기평가 및 지식과 태도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 건강장애이해교육을 통해 초등학교 일반학생들 건강장애와 건강장애학생에 대한 이해를 증진시키고, 긍정적인 태도를 형성할 수 있는지 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 한 초등학교 6학년에 재학 중 64명의 학생들을 대상으로 사전사후통제집단설계를 이용하여 프로그램 효과 검증 연구를 진행하였다. 실험집단에게는 7차시로 구성된 이러닝 형태의 건강장애 인식개선 프로그램을 이용하여 건강장애 이해교육을 실시하였고, 통제집단에는 건강장애와 관련된 교육을 실시하지 않았다. 두 집단에게 프로그램 실시 전후에 실시한 자기평가, 지식검사, 태도검사에서의 평균의 차이가 집단 간 차이를 보이는지 알아보기 위해 독립표본 t 검증을 실시하였으며, 실험집단의 경우 사후에 실시한 위의 세 가지 유형의 검사점수 간의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 적률상관관계분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 장애이해교육을 통해 일반학생들의 장애이해에 대한 자기평가와 지식수준 그리고 태도가 향상된 것으로 나타났으며, 자기평가와 지식수준 간, 그리고 지식수준과 태도 간에 정적인 상관관계가 있음이 나타났다. 연구결과를 기반으로 하여 향후 관련연구들에서 고려할 점들과 향후 건강장애이해프로그램 개발과 적용의 방향성에 대해 논의하였다.

A total of 64 sixth grade students in two classes at a elementary schol participated in this study which used pretest-posttest control group design. While the experimental group participated in the disability-awareness program focused chronic health impairments during seven sessions, the control group did not participate in any program.
