통합환경에서의 중도장애학생 평가를 위한 국외 대안평가 연구동향 고찰 및 함의

초록

본 연구는 통합환경에서의 중도장애학생 평가를 위한 국외 대안평가 연구동향을 고찰하고 그 함의를 제시하는 데 목적을 두었다. 분석대상논문은 2003년부터 2013년까지 10년간 학술지에 게재된 국외 논문 19편이고, 국외 대안평가의 연구동향은 전반적인 경향(연도별, 연구방법별, 연구주제별)과 주요 특성(대안평가 지침 및 교육과정, 대안평가 적용 현황, 기술적 적합성, 대안평가의 영향)으로 나누어 분석되었고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 국외 대안평가 연구의 전반적인 경향으로 첫째, 연도별 연구동향은 대안평가와 관련된 법이 개정되거나 대안평가의 유형이 새롭게 제시되었던 해에 연구가 집중되고 있었다. 둘째, 연구방법별 연구동향은 조사연구가 문헌연구보다 약 세 배 많이 이루어졌다. 셋째, 연구주제별 연구동향은 대안평가 도구의 기술적 적합성(타당도, 신뢰도)에 대한 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 국외 대안평가 연구들의 주요 특성으로 첫째, 대안평가의 지침 및 교육과정과 관련하여 초기에는 대안평가를 소개하는 연구가 이루어졌으나 점차 대안평가 적용의 주요 쟁점(대안평가 참여의 적격성 결정, 기술적 적합성)에 관한 연구가 이루어졌다. 둘째, 대안평가의 적용 현황은 전반적인 적용 현황과 대안평가를 통한 장애학생의 학업성취도에 대한 현황에 대하여 주로 조사되었다. 셋째, 기술적 적합성과 관련하여 대안평가의 타당도에 대한 연구가 주를 이루었던 반면에 신뢰도에 대한 연구는 미흡한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 넷째, 대안평가는 장애학생의 수업뿐만 아니라 대안평가 관계자(교사, 학부모)의 인식에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 결론 및 논의에서는 국외 대안평가 연구동향과 국내 대안평가 연구동향을 비교하여 국내 대안평가의 연구동향을 진단하고 향후 국내 대안평가의 연구방향을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this analysis was to review on research trend of overseas alternate assessment for assessment of students with severe disabilities in inclusive settings. The purpose of this analysis was to review studies concerning alternate assessment for students with disabilities in journals published from 2003 to 2013. Total 19 studies were identified based on the analysis criteria. The results are as follows: In general trend of alternate assessment, the number of studies was the most frequently in 2007. Survey was the most frequently in research methodology. And the number of studies on technical adequacy of alternate assessment was the most frequently. In specific trend of alternate assessment, the number of the theme on alternate assessment regulations were decreased because of being concentrated on main issues on application of alternate assessment. Surveys on application of alternate assessment were conducted in large-scale survey. Studies on technical adequacy of alternate assessment were more concentrated on validity than on reliability. And alternate assessment influenced on the perception of persons concerned in alternate assessment. Comments on current research and relevant issues for future research are discussed.
