합천박물관 소장 ｢同道契會之圖｣는 전형적인 족자 형태의 계회도이다. 재질은 한지이고, 크기는 72×114cm 정도이다. 경상도 출신 11명의 관리가 참여한 文人 계회도이다. ‘同鄕=경상도’와 관련한 대표적인 사례이다. 원래 소장자는 ‘문화류씨 장령공파 대종회’이다. 臨湖 柳世溫의 문중에서 보관해 오다가 2024년 1월 합천박물관에 기증했다. 계회도는 제목과 그림, 명단 등 3부분으로 이뤄졌다. 상단에는 ‘同道契會之圖’라는 제목이 적혀 있다. 중단의 그림은 조선 초기에 유행한 소위 ‘安堅派 화풍’이 반영되어 있다. 하단은 계회 참석자 11명의 명단이다. 합천을 중심으로 고령·대구를 포함한 서부 경남 지역 문인들이 중심인 ‘동향’ 계회이다. 모임은 1607〜1608년 무렵 서울 한강 변에서 개최했고, 계회도는 1612년에 제작되었다. ｢동도계회지도｣는 17세기 전후 계회도의 변화상을 잘 보여주며, ‘동향’과 관련된 드문 사례이다. 학계에 처음으로 공개되는 귀중한 자료로, 보존 상태도 비교적 양호한 편이다. 조선시대 계회도 연구의 주요 자료라 할 수 있다. 문화유산으로 지정해 보존·연구할 가치가 충분하다.
Abstract
｢Dongdogyehoegido(同道契會之圖)｣ is a typical Gyehoedo(契會圖) in the shape of a hanging scroll. The material is Korean paper, and the size is about 72 x 114 cm. This is a Lliterary Gyehoedo(文人契會圖) with 11 officials from Gyeongsang Province participating. It is a representative case related to ‘the same hometown(同鄕)’. The original owner was ‘Moonhwaryussi(文化柳氏) Jangryeongpa(掌令公派) great public conter(大宗會)’. It was stored in the Im-ho(臨湖) Ryu Se-on(柳世溫) clan, but it was donated to the Hapcheon Museum in January 2024. Gyehoedo consists of three parts: the title, picture, and list. At the top is the title of ‘Dongdogyehoegido(同道契會之圖)’. The painting in the middle shows the so-called ‘Anggyeon faction painting style(安堅派 畫風)’ that was popular in the early Joseon Dynasty. The bottom is a list of 11 participants. It is a ‘Same hometown Gyehoe(同鄕契會)’ centered on writers from western South Gyeongsang Province, including Goryeong and Daegu, centering on Hapcheon. The gatherings was held around 1607-1608 along the Han River in Seoul, and Gyehoedo was produced in 1612. ｢Dongdogyehoegido｣ consists of title, picture, and list produced in the early 17th century. It shows the ‘Anggyeon faction painting style’ that was popular in the early Joseon Dynasty, and shows the changes in Gyehoedo after the 17th century. This is a rare case related to the ‘Same hometown’ in which a bureaucrat from ‘Gyeongsang Province participated. The overall storage condition is good. It is a valuable material that is disclosed to the academic world for the first time.
