Abstract
Despitetherecentrecognitionofcommunication'svitalroleinhealthcare,thecommunicationisespeciallyproblematicin healthcare,wherespeakersareoften shorton time,thethingsbeing communicated arecomplicatedandattimesemotionnallydifficult,andtheaudiencesareofteninpositionsofvulnerability. Therhetoriccouldbearemedyfortheeducationofcommunicationinhealthcare.Theaim ofthisstudyisthereforeto introducetherhetoricalprinciplesofcommunication in healthcareto thosewhom areinteressedinteachinghealthcommunication
