芻議建構口語修辭傳播學科的意義

Abstract

For a long time, the subject of Communication introduced from the United States into the Chinese cultural circle is based on empirical research. It seems that academic circles have already drawn a parallel between Mass Communication and Communication, while Speech communication and Rhetoric has long been neglected. Speech communication and Rhetoric is a subject of human discourse, which studies how people use symbols to communicate with each other. In the present era of new media communication, Speech communication and Rhetoric has a strong theoretical value and social application value. On the basis of combing the development of Speech communication and Rhetoric in the United States, this paper explains the necessity and urgency of constructing this subject in the Chinese cultural circle.
