ICT 융합 기반 노인요양시설의 기능 중심 돌봄 프로세스에 관한 연구

본 연구는 2014년부터 2024년까지 수행된 국내 노인요양시설 거주 노인의 기능 중심 돌봄(Function-Focused Care, FFC) 관련 연구 8편을 통합적으로 고찰하여, 기능 중심 간호가 개념적으로 형성되고 임상·교육·기술 영역으로 확산되는 과정을 분석하였다. 국내에서 수행된 관련 학술 논문 및 특허를 대상으로 내용분석과 비교분석을 실시하였으며, 시기적 특성에 따라 임상 적용기, 교육 확산기, 기술 고도화기로 구분하였다. 기능 중심 돌봄은 치료 중심 간호에서 기능 촉진형 간호로 전환되며, 노인의 잔존기능을 유지하고 활용함으로써 돌봄의 초점이 수동적 지원에서 능동적 기능 촉진으로 변화하였다. 또한 ICT 융합 기반의 스마트미디어형 협업 플랫폼을 통해 다학제적 간호 실무의 효율성과 디지털 전환을 촉진하였다. 기능 중심 돌봄은 노인요양시설 간호의 패러다임을 변화시키는 핵심 간호모델로 자리 잡고 있으며, 향후 융복합 기반의 통합 기능 돌봄 모델 개발이 요구된다.
Abstract
This integrative review analyzed eight studies on Function-Focused Care (FFC) in Korean nursing homes (2014–2024) to explore its development across clinical, educational, and technological domains. Research outputs, including empirical studies and one patent, were examined by purpose, method, and major findings, and classified into clinical application, educational expansion, and technological advancement phases. FFC has evolved from treatment-centered to function-promoting care that utilizes older adults’ remaining abilities and encourages independence. ICT-converged, smart-media–based platforms further enhanced interdisciplinary communication and efficiency in nursing home care. Overall, FFC has become an integrated nursing framework linking practice, education, and technology, fostering professional competency and person-centered, evidence-based care. Future studies should develop digital, interdisciplinary models that sustain functional independence and quality of life in older adults.
