연구배경 디지털화와 도시화로 인해 인간과 자연의 연결이 단절되면서 심리적 스트레스가 증가하고 있다. 바이오필릭 디자인은 자연 요소를 설계에 통합하여 심리적 안정감과 치유 효과를 제공하는데, 본 연구는 이를 디지털 인터페이스에 적용해 자연과의 연결감을 구현하고자 한다. 연구방법 기존 바이오필릭 색채 팔레트를 한국표준색채체계(KSCP) 기반으로 재구성한 57개 색상을 활용하여 디지털 환경, 특히 누리집 서브 페이지에 적용하였다. 전문가 자문을 통해 디자인의 적용 방안을 검토하였다. 연구결과 바이오필릭 색채는 디지털 환경에서도 자연의 심리적 안정감과 몰입감을 제공할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 재구성된 색채는 체계성과 실용성을 갖추어 디지털 인터페이스에서 효과적으로 활용될 수 있었다. 결론 바이오필릭 색채는 디지털 환경에서 심리적 안정감을 유도하는 데 효과적이며, 이를 다양한 플랫폼에서 확장 적용할 필요가 있다. 향후, 사용자 선호도와 정서적 효과를 평가하는 연구와 현장 중심의 색채 매뉴얼 개발이 요구된다.
Abstract
Background The rapid digitization and urbanization have led to a disconnection between humans and nature, resulting in increased psychological stress. Biophilic design integrates natural elements into design to provide psychological stability and healing effects. This study aims to implement this approach in digital interfaces to foster a sense of connection with nature. Methods A total of 57 colors from the existing biophilic color palette, restructured based on the Korean Standard Color System (KSCP), were applied to digital environments, specifically on the subpages of websites. The application methods of the design were reviewed through expert consultation. Result The biophilic color palette has been found to provide psychological stability and immersion in digital environments as well. The restructured palette demonstrated systematic organization and practicality, enabling effective application in digital interfaces. Conclusion Biophilic colors are effective in inducing psychological stability in digital environments, and their application needs to be expanded across various platforms. Future research should focus on evaluating user preferences and emotional effects, as well as developing field-oriented color manuals.
