본 연구는 초등학생을 위한 영어 말하기와 듣기 능력 신장을 위한 스마트 어플리케이션의 설계 및 개발에 관한 내용이다. 영어 학습 앱을 개발하기 위해 말하기 듣기의 기초가 되는 반복말하기와 자신의 소리를 녹음하여 듣는 TTS기능을 적용하였다. 개발된 영어학습 앱의 효과성을 분석하기 위하여 수업을 실시하고 말하기 능력 검사와 정의적 영역을 사전사후 검사를 실시하였다. 검사결과, 영어 말하기 능력에 있어 4-6학년 초등학생 모두 능력이 신장된 것을 볼 수 있었다. 정의적 영역에 있어서도 대부분의 학생들이 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 제안한 연구를 통하여 현장교육에서 효과적인 영어 학습의 방법으로 적용되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
In this study, we proposed the design and development of smart application for English speaking and listening effectively. First, to develop English learning application, we applied the TTS feature to record your own sounds and learning theory repeated listening and speaking that is the basis of English learning. To analyze the effectiveness of the development of English learning application, we applied a lesson for 4 months. And we conducted a pre-post test as a target to elementary students. In the test result, we found that all students have advanced to the English speaking ability. In addition, the test results of the affective factors showed a positive response to most students. We should expect that the proposed study has been applied in the way of effective English language learning in the educational field.
