This article aims to analyse the problems of Lee Myung-bak goverment's policy towards North Korea and suggst the present tasks of the policy toward North Korea. Lee Myung-bak goverment's policy toward North Korea can be summarized as 'the Vision 3000: Denuclearization and Openness' being based on Korea-US Alliance. However the policy toward North Korea has the serious problems such as the worse of the relation of the South-North Korea, the one-sided relation of the Korea-US Alliance, the weakening of autonomy in foreign policy of Korea and so on. In order to resolve the problems, we need the overthrow of 'the Vision 3000: Denuclearization and Openness', the succession of the joint declaration by inter-korea and the restoration of the trust between the South-North Korea and the readjustment of Korea-US Alliance and the harmony with the multilateral security cooperation.
Abstract
