초록
This study was conducted by dividing into group A, group B, and control group C. Group A conducted reward-based training program for owners and dogs, and group B conducted reward-based training program and pet massage. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was verified that the pre- and post-test results of group B (z=1.782 and P<.05) had a significant effect on reducing the sensitivity of dogs. Second, the level of obedience training was significantly improved in the verification results of group A’s pre- and post-test (z=2.201, P<.01) and the verification results of group B’s pre- and post-test conducted (z=2.366, P<.001). Third, the verification result of the pre- and post-test of group A (z=2.023, P<.01) was found to have a significant effect on the modification of problematic behaviors. In addition, the problematic behaviors were significantly reduced in the verification result of the pre- and post-test of group B (z=1.572, P<.05). Fourth, the continuity of the effect of improving the level of obedience training and reducing problematic behaviors of group A and group B was confirmed. From the above results, it was confirmed that the reward-based training program in which owners and dogs participated has a positive effect on reducing dog’s sensitivity, improving obedience training level, and reducing problematic behaviors, and maintaining continuity in the level of obedience training and reducing problematic behaviors.
