제2차 바티칸 공의회 이후, 예배의 본질을 회복하는 노력들과 함께 기독교인들은 예수 그리스도 안에서 하나의 지체로의 연합됨을 위해 노력해 왔다. 그 결과로써, 예배의 개혁은 로마 카톨릭 뿐만 아니라 여러 개신교회들 속에서 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 여러 가지 다양한 예배 전통들 사이에는 아직 풀지 못한 갈등이 내재되어 있다. 그것은 말씀과 성만찬 사이에여전히 존재하는 거리감이다. 둘 사이의 이러한 거리는 예배에 있어서의 ‘말씀의 회복’과(카톨릭) 예배의 본질적 형태로의 성만찬 회복(개신교)을 통해 점점 더 가까워지고 있다. 분명한 것은 그들이 점점 더 서로를 향해 다가서고 있다는 것이다. 설교와 성만찬의 역동적인 결합은 하나의 예배 의식 가운데에 가득찬 신앙의 신비를 맛보게 해준다. 하나의 조화되고 연합된 예배 의식을 도달하기 위해서, 우리가 알아야 할 것은 예전적인 어떤 예배 내용들이 설교의 부속물이 아니라는 것과 또한 반대로 설교가 어떤 예전적 행위, 즉 성만찬의 귀속물이 아니라는 것이다. 하나가 다른 하나에 귀속물처럼 매어 있지 않다. 이러한 이해 속에서, 우리가 찾아야 할 한가지 중요한 것은 바로 ‘예전적 설교’라는 주제이다. 궁극적으로 예전적 설교라는 주제는 다양한 예배전통들이 함께 만나서 대화하는 장소이다. 그러므로 예전적 설교라는 주제는 보다 깊은 대화 가운데 다루어져야 한다. 하지만 예전적 설교라는 주제는 20세기 이후의 예배 개혁에 관한 논의 가운데에서도 가볍게 다루어져 온 것이 사실이다. 이제 우리는 이 주제에 대해 보다 깊은 관심을 가질 필요가 있다. 예전적 설교라는 주제를 통해서 우리는 예배의 본질에 대해 더욱 깊은 이해를 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 여러 가지 다양한 예배 전통들 사이의 대화의 가능성을 제공받을 수 있다. 이 논문은 이러한 예배에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 설교의 본질을 탐구하고 있다.
Abstract
After the Second Vatican, especially recovering what is essential in our worship service, Christians have struggled to be unified, because they re-realized that there is only one head of the church, Jesus Christ, As a result, liturgical renewal began in the various worship traditions(especially in both the Catholic and the Protestant churches). However, I feel that there is still a conflict between them that has to be resolved. That is, there still remains a distance between preaching and liturgy. I believe that this distance is getting closer though the renewal of preaching in the Roman Catholic Church and the recovery of the Eucharist as the normative for of worship in Protestant Churches. They are coming toward each other. The dynamic union of preaching and liturgy makes the fullness of the mystery celebrated in one unified liturgical celebration. For reaching forward to one unified liturgical celebration, we have to know that liturgy is not an appendix to preaching and, at the same time, preaching is not underneath the Table. On cannot subjected to the other. In this understanding, one element that they have to find is that the subject ‘liturgical preaching’ is the place where they will finally meet together for the dialogue. Thus, the subject ‘liturgical preaching’ has to be considered more seriously in on-going dialogue. However, it is true that the subject ‘liturgical preaching’ has been lightly treated in the discussion of the liturgical renewal movement. Now we need to give more profound attention to this subject, since we can more profoundly understand ‘the nature of worship’ through the subject. Furthermore, it enables possibility for dialogue among various worship tradition. Base on this understand, the article tries to examine the nature of preaching as a part of liturgy.
