1879년 간행된 『白雲遺集』 硏究

Abstract

This research overviewed Baekun-yoojip(白雲遺集) which is one of Lee Gyu-bo(李奎報)‘s collection of works printed in 1879, especially focusing on clarifying the author of Daeseoningihagyeseo(代仙人寄下界書) contained in Baekun-yoojip. Lee Gyu-bo is the representative literatus of middle Goryo period. His literary works are compiled in his Dongkuk-leesangkukjip(東國李相國集), which were recognized as outstanding works even quite amount is included in Dongmunseon(東文選). After 600 years after his death, another Collection of works is published, which is Baekun-yoojip(白雲遺集). Baekun-yoojip is a single volume book, printed in wooden type. However there are no introduction or epilogue, therefore it is hard to specify who published it for what reason. So far, no proper research has been conducted on Baekun-yoojip. Also, Daeseoningihagyeseo was published under the title of Daeseoningiyeoseo(代仙人寄予書) in Dongkuk-leesangkukjip pulished in Yeongjo period and Dongmunseon(東文選) published by Gyeongin publishing company. Academia has traditionally regarded this work as a letter written by Lee Gyu-bo to himself. However in Baekun-yujip, some of the works are different in title or content if compared with Lee’s Dongkuk-leesangkukjip or Dongmunseon, or even other person’s work is suggested as Lee’s writings. What is noteworthy is that in the annotation under the title of Daeseoningihageiseo, the author was specifically mentioned as Im Chun(林椿) not Lee Gyu-bo, and purpose of this letter was from Im Chun to comfort Lee Gyu-bo. Accordingly, I began a study on Baekun-yoojip, looked up the whole book, and elaborated on the works that were written differently from the other editions from previous Collections. Moreover while specifying the author of Daeseoningihageiseo, it was required to analyze various aspects of the letter such as the relationship between Lee Gyu-bo and Im Chun, the title or the content of the work, and the style and terms used. From this, the research tried to deal with changes or revisions of Baekun-yoojip, Lee Gyu-bo’s collection published in the late Joseon(朝鮮) Dynasty, with different perspective from previous researches. Though there are some parts in Baekun-yoojip which is not yet credible, still this book is subject of research for synthetic philological understanding of Lee Gyu-bo. Also it is clear that conducting a study on the collections of Goryeo(高麗) writers which have revised edition published in later time is necessary, therefore emphasized through this research and hope that further researches will follow.
