『均如傳』의 재인식 -10세기 향가, 그 한역이 제기했던 문제-

Abstract

As the biographical document, in Gyunyeojeon, 11 Hyangga articles by the main figure, Gyunyeo, are contained with Classical-Chinese translated poetry of them. Moreover, it is combined with the preface of the author and the preface of Hyangga translator, Choe Haenggui. In this paper, I attempt to present the status of Hyangga of Gyunyeo and interpret issues about Choe's the Classical-Chinese translation of them. About works of the former, I highlight the transformational change displayed in them. Originally, Hyagga is the literature for Hwarang, the noble group of knights but in Gyunyeo's works, it becomes religious song for the people. And about the translation of the latter, I argue that the purpose of it is the communication for Classical-Chinese World. The time line of the creation and translation of them, the 10th Century, the late Silla to Early Goryeo era is the great transitional period for Sinosphere, Classical- Chinese World. Among Koreans during this era, innovative and independent spirit is risen and they recognize the communication of Classical-Chinese World.
