The purpose of this study is to examine the usage of da ‘all’ in spoken discourse of Korean. To achieve this, The Sejong Spoken Corpus was used to search for the tokens of da. The adverb realizes quantification meaning in Korean. The research is composed of five chapters, The first chapter presents the purpose of this study. The second chapter focuses on the previous studies and properties of the adverb da. The third chapter discusses the frequency of realization of the adverb da as a whole and the type. The fourth chapter examines the features of spoken language and the realization of the adverb da. In the last chapter, a brief summary of this study is provided. This study differs from the previous studies in that it considered the practicality of the adverb da in spoken language corpus. I hope that this study will raise interest in the characteristics of Korean spoken language.
