이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 마이스터 고등학교 학생의 학교생활적응 수준과 관련된 변인들을 구명하는데 있었다. 이 연구의 모집단은 마이스터 고등학교에 재학하는 모든 학생들이고, 2011년 현재 모집단은 총 21개 마이스터 고등학교의 1, 2학년 학생 7,064명이다. 이 모집단으로부터 유층화 군집표집과 유층화 비율표집 방법이 활용되어 총 720명의 표본이 추출되었다. 자료 분석은 기술통계와 추리통계를 사용하였으며, 통계적 유의수준 0.05를 기준으로 판단하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 마이스터 고등학교 학생은 남학생이 여학생보다 6배 이상 많고, 1학년과 2학년의 비율은 비슷하며, 현재 속한 전공학과를 희망한 학생이 그렇지 않은 학생보다 7배 이상 많다. 또한 개인특성 변인, 가족특성 변인 및 학교특성 변인의 수준은 대부분 이론적 평균보다 높다. 둘째, 마이스터 고등학교 학생의 학교생활적응 수준은 이론적 평균보다 높고, 학교생활적응의 하위요인 가운데 규칙적응, 친구적응, 전공적응, 교사적응, 수업적응 순으로 높다. 셋째, 마이스터 고등학교 학생의 학교생활적응은 희망학과 여부, 자아존중감, 진로결정수준, 부모의 관심, 자율성 부여, 가족 화목, 학교적응 지원, 진로지도 노력, 교사의 학생지지, 학교시설 만족, 방과후학교 만족, 학과전공 일치, 취업진로 일치 변인과 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 가지고 있다. 넷째, 마이스터 고등학교 학생의 학교생활적응에 대한 설명력은 60.3%이고, 자아존중감, 교사의 학생지지, 진로결정수준, 방과후학교 만족, 학교적응 지원, 진로지도 노력, 희망학과 여부, 취업진로 일치 순으로 높은 설명력을 지니고 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify levels of school adjustment of meister high school students, and analyze the relationship between school adjustment and its variables. The population of this study was meister high school students. The population for this study consisted of 7,064 first and second year meister high school students, of which 720 students were selected as the sample. The survey instrument was used in the research for data collection. The survey instrument includes the following scales; school adjustment scale, self-esteem scale, career decision status scale, student characteristic scale, family characteristic scale and school characteristic scale. The school adjustment scale was composed of five parts. The results of this study were as follows: first, there was six times more males than females. The ratio of the first and second year was similar. The number of students who wanted their major was seven times more than not. Second, the school adjustment level of meister high school students was higher than theoretical average. Third, there was a statistically significant correlation between the school adjustment and it's variables; whether the major hopes, self-esteem, career decision status, parents' concerns, parental autonomy granting, family harmony, school adjustment lesson, career support, teacher's support, satisfaction with school facilities, satisfaction with after-school program, whether the major match and whether the career match. Fourth, the eight factors that statistically explain the school adjustment of meister high school students were self-esteem, teacher's support, career decision status, satisfaction with after-school program, school adjustment lesson, career support, whether the major hopes and whether the career match.
